Westside Improvement Association (WIA) offers five largely unrestricted scholarships for graduating high school seniors. These scholarships will be awarded based on quality of a completed application and financial need.

Eligibility Requirements:

​

• Any F.J. Reitz and Mater Dei high school seniors

• Any other high school senior with a 47712 or 47720 home address zip code

 

Available Scholarships:

​

• Two $750 scholarships, non-renewing, to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited trade or technical school, or are accepted into a skilled apprenticeship program.

​​​​

• Three $2,000 scholarships, non-renewing, to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year university.

​

The WIA Scholarship Committee will review applications, contact references and announce the scholarship by April 30, 2025.  If no or few qualified complete applications are received, then fewer or no scholarships will be awarded. All applicants will be notified of the Committee's decision.
