Introduction      

Westside Improvement Association (WIA) offers five scholarships for graduating high school seniors. These scholarships will be awarded based on quality of a completed application and financial need.

 

Three $2,000 scholarships, non-renewing, to graduating high school seniors who will attend an accredited four-year college or university

• One FJ Reitz High School senior any zip code

• One Mater Dei High School senior any zip code

• One senior residing within the 47712 or 47720 zip code attending another high school or home school.

 

Two $750 scholarships, non-renewing, to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited trade or technical school

• One for a FJ Reitz High School Senior any zip code

• One for a Mater Dei High School Senior any zip code

 

The WIA Scholarship Committee will review applications, contact references and announce the scholarship by April 15, 2026.  If no or few qualified complete applications are received, then fewer or no scholarships will be awarded.
